Reception

The reception staff is available from 07.30 to 20.00 and offers personalized and exclusive attention to your guests, guaranteeing important assistance in planning your entire stay to discover the variety and richness of the Italian gastronomic, artistic and cultural heritage. During closing hours a telephone contact will be available in case of emergency. Check-in is from 14.00 to 20.00 while check-out is from 07.30 to 11.00. Garden

Our private courtyard garden boasts a charming history. The building housed the cloister of the holy order of Le Clarisse in Trastevere centuries ago in 1122, and the courtyard was the monastery’s botanical garden where herbs were grown that, in those days, were considered most rare and miraculous. Today the garden offers a tranquil oasis in the heart of the busy city. With a large and ancient olive tree in the centre and comfortable seating around, the garden is always at our guests disposal.

Breakfast

A full buffet breakfast is served from 07.30 to 10.00am

Breakfast is served in a room which was once the ancient cloisters refectory next to the garden, but in the fine weather it is also possible to enjoy your breakfast in the garden. If you require breakfast room service please advise the reception staff. Our sweet and savory continental breakfast also includes a wide selection of fresh, quality, homemade products, such as muffins, cakes, apple pie, tarts, pastries and croissants, as well as delicious fruit juices, teas, espresso, American coffee and cappuccino.

For Guests needing to Check – out before 07.30, we can prepare a ‘take-away’ breakfast bag. Please advise the reception staff by 18.00 pm on the day before departure.

Transfer

If you want to reach the Le Clarisse in Trastevere from the airports of Rome and the port of Civitavecchia in complete tranquility and comfort, rely on the transfer service*. The seriousness and reliability of the driver will allow you to arrive relaxed and carefree. Clear fares with no baggage surcharge. Payment will be directed in cash to the driver.


A night supplement of €10.00 will be applied for transfers made from 10.00 pm to 6.00 am.

Four-legged Friends

Gentle and well behaved four-legged friends are always welcome! At the rate of € 15,00 per day your pet will have its own comfy ‘bed’ and a set of bowls for water and food.

Laundry Service

The hotel offers a laundry service, just drop your clothes off at reception. An iron and ironing board are also available to guests free of charge upon request.

Free wi-fi Internet connection is available in all of our premises.

Luggage Storage

Guests departing in the afternoon or checking in before 14:00 pm can store their luggage at our reception for free.

Parking

Relais Le Claisse does not have private parking.

Guests can choose between the following options:

- Private parking on Via dei Marescotti, 6. Daily rates: € 25,00 – € 30,00 depending on the car size;

- Public parking on the street, only available between 7:00pm to 7:00am. From 7:00 pm to 3:00 am it costs 1 € per hour; from 3:00 am to 7:00 am it is free of charge

  • At what time is the reception open?

    The reception is available from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

  • At what time are check-in and check-out?

    Check-in 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM.

  • How can I modify or cancel a reservation made on the Official Website?

    In the confirmation email you receive after booking, you will find the links to modify or cancel it. In any case, the rates provide for free cancellation. If you prefer, write to us after booking and we will gladly help you.

  • Can I leave my luggage before check-in or after check-out?

    Yes: a free luggage storage service is available at the reception, with a convenient luggage scale. This way you can enjoy Rome even before check-in or after check-out.

  • What is the breakfast time?

    Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM.

  • Can I order breakfast in my room?

    Yes, upon request, it is possible to order breakfast in your room.

  • If I leave early, can I have a packed breakfast?

    Yes: for those checking out before 7:00 AM, upon request, we can prepare a packed breakfast, by notifying the reception by 6:00 PM the previous day.

  • Are there gluten-free and/or lactose-free products at breakfast?

    Yes: upon request, we offer gluten-free and lactose-free options. We ask you to report this at the time of booking (or before arrival), so we can better organize your breakfast.

  • Are there vegan products at breakfast?

    Yes: upon request, you will find vegan options at breakfast, such as plant-based drinks and baked goods (for example, vegan croissants). Contact us after booking: we will do our best to provide a vegan breakfast suited to your needs.

  • Do you have services for those traveling with children?

    Yes: upon request, we can prepare the room with a crib and high chair and provide useful accessories such as a bottle warmer and stroller. If you want, you can also request products for your child in advance (such as diapers and baby food) so you find everything ready upon your arrival.

  • Do you offer a transfer service to/from airports and the port of Civitavecchia?

    Yes: a transfer service is available (provided by one of our partners), with clear rates and no luggage supplement. Payment: direct in cash to the driver. Night supplement: € 10.00 for transfers carried out between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.

  • How much does the transfer to/from Fiumicino or Ciampino cost?

    By car up to 3 people: € 60.00. In a minivan for 4–5 people: € 95.00. In a minivan for 6–8 people: € 105.00.

  • How much does the transfer to/from the Port of Civitavecchia cost?

    By car up to 3 people: € 150.00. In a minivan for 4–5 people: € 170.00. In a minivan for 6–8 people: € 200.00.

  • Do you have a laundry service?

    Yes: you can hand over your clothes at the reception for the laundry service, we'll take care of the rest. Upon request, an iron and ironing board are also available for free in your room.

  • Is there a space to relax or work?

    Yes: at the relais, you will find a small common room designed for a break or to work in peace, with a sofa, desk, and comfortable chair. Wi-Fi, TV, and a bathroom with a shower are also available.
